Process Commissioning Engineer

• Review the Sub-system identification list and start-up sequence documents and develop if required.
• Review issued marked up PID’s and provide comment list if required.
• Review all operational test procedures (OTP) and develop if required.
• Review all FAT & SAT documents to make sure everything is in line to project engineering data and standard systemization methodology.
• Provide technical support for provision of pre-commissioning and commissioning system completion dossiers and technical support for issuance of pre safety start-up review (PSSR) document.
• Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning pre-walkthrough task and develop commissioning Punch List whenever required.
• Review punch list database and follow up for verification of relevant registered process punch items in all categories.
• Good knowledge in all related local/ international codes & regulations, Process safety codes & standards and regulatory codes & standards.
• Monitor all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities based on start-up sequence priority in each sub-system as per the project schedule and update the progress in the weekly/monthly system completion progress reports.
• Assist distributed team in implementing standard processes, training, and updating work instructions
• Drive the implementation and training of the Commissioning process throughout the project
• Develop and improve the existing work process for site handover from Commissioning & Start-up Team to Operations / Client
• Cooperate with Engineering and Digital Technology teams to ensure data flow is appropriate to populate the Completions System

Qualifikation

• Work experience minimum 10 Years in commissioning scope (at least 3 projects) in a similar position from Customer side or PMC consultant in EPCC projects in an oil and gas industry (GPP, GCC, Refinery, LNG, GTL, full scale field development, or other project of similar scope and complexity)
• Experience in sour gas projects and sulphur recovery systems
• Experience in gas processing plants (gas sweetening, dehydration etc.
• Familiar with Shell licensed gas processing units
• Expert in Systemization Commissioning (Sub-system basis work by related marked up SLD & PID’s, checklist and test sheet, etc.) as well as commissioning procedures.
• Strong background in commissioning / start-up planning and engineering / design of industrial gas plants.
• Field construction and commissioning / start-up experience desired
• Ability to read P&ID’s, isometrics, interpret design curves of field machinery and function testing / validation of field equipment
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Education: Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or Associates degree or equivalent work experience.

Language skills: English (Reading, Writing & Speaking skills) is mandatory, Russian is an advantage.

Professional experience: Min 17 years’ experience in comparable position.
