Business Development Manager - Energy (National Staff)
Job description
- Adhere to ILF IMS Policy
- Create long term value for ILF from clients, markets and relationships
- Recognize and create business development opportunities
- Identify and keep up-to-date view of the current market situation and changes
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- Improve ILF’s visibility in the region by participating and representing ILF at exhibitions and conferences
- Identify and approach potential clients, build long-term relationships with potential and existing clients
- Arrange meetings with client executives and key decision makers together with management and follow-up established contacts
- Identify or propose potential business deals by contacting potential strategic partners
- Manage and coordinate marketing initiatives and activities in assigned business areas
- Close new acquisitions by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Calculating prime costs based on cost accounting rates, verification through schedule of fees and/or comparison with reference projects, estimation of market price or alternative calculation methods.
- Prepare and review quality proposals
- Drawing up of draft contract, if no such draft is provided by the client (see PG2201) in coordination with the responsible senior management and/or legal adviser.
- Reviewing the contract draft, depending on the project scope and risk, with the support of the department manager or legal adviser (see PG2201)
- Support the Managing Director in business related discussions
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

- Must have sound knowledge and understanding of technical terms and conditions.
- Awareness of compliance and audit processes.
- Ability to identify changes and improvements to the technical documentation and procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements.

- Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision
- Systematic thinker and good organizational skills/ time management
- Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority
- Team player within and across functions.
- Sensitive to Client’s requirements and Client-focused.
Education: Bachelor degree is minimum requirement
Master Degree preferred.
Language skills: Russian and English are mandatory.
Kazakh is advantageous.
Professional experience: Min 10 year in Energy Related business area
